What Is Project Lifesaver?
Project lifesaver International was activated in 1999. It is a comprehensive program to enhance and aid in locating those missing persons with Dementia, Alzheimer's, Autism and Down's Syndrome or those at risk of wandering. Hamilton County emergency responders have been trained and equipped to participate in this program, they run several fund raisers throughout the year to keep this program available to the qualified participants at no cost to the families. I recently spoke with David McCormick the Project Lifesaver coordinator and asked him to explain the program, you can read his full article at my website www.cherylsmyagent.com and click on the Hamilton County Spotlight.
